Visit this restaurant every time I am in New York! The new location is fantastic and the food is always very good. My favorite is the chicken Vendou, but it's probably too hot for many. I've never had a bad meal here!

Delicious Indian Food in Midtown! Small space but always busy and turning tables constantly. We started with their Taj Mahal beer, Pappadums and dahi puri(our absolute favorite!!!!). We followed with Tandoori Chicken, Saag Paneer and Garlic Naan. The Saag Paneer was extremely spicy and we were never asked a spice level to begin with, which is very rare for an Indian restaurant.. we ended with some rice pudding(kheer) and a chai! Would be back to try other items but the dahi puri is at the top!!

This place has one of the best Indian foods in NYC. I ordered samosa chat, spicy chicken curry, rice and rotis. All the dishes were fresh and flavorful. I could taste the freshness in food items. The staff is very friendly, kind and attentive. I also got a complimentary lassi as the chicken was very spicy. Overall, this restaurant is good pick for simple tasty Indian food.

My friend and I came here on a Tuesday night and it was pretty busy, but they were able to seat us within 10 minutes. The inside is nice and intimate enough for a nice group dinner or date night. We both ordered the prix-fixe menu, I got the vegetable samosa, tikka masala at medium spice, and the gulab jamun for dessert. The samosa was crunchy and flavorful with a lot of filling. The tikka masala was solid and it had a good spice level, just enough to linger. This was the first time I had tried gulab jamun and it was good, a bit too sweet for me but that may be how it's normally is. Overall, this place is good Indian food and I wouldn't mind stopping in again!

We enjoyed our visit to the Bengal Tiger and were happy to find multiple vegetarian options. The food was very good and the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is somewhat small, but cozy and large enough to accommodate a fair amount of people. If possible, I would recommend making a reservation. We ordered naan, saag paneer, malai kofta, and channa masala. We also had mango lassis. Of the dishes were ordered, the maiai kofta was my favorite. The servings were generous and we ended up taking a lot of food back to the hotel. Ask about the degree of spiciness if you are taking children or people who prefer milder dishes. Your server will be able to advise you on what you should order. Great place, I recommend it.

Came here with a reservation on a Saturday night. Sat down quickly. Ordered the pre fix with the addition of garlic naan. For appetizers we got the pakora and keema samosa. It came out piping hot like all the dishes. Both were crunchy, flavorful, and the samosa had plenty of filling. For mains we got the chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo. The chicken tikka had a nice flavor, I asked to make it 8/10 spice but it wasn't spicy, the chicken was also a bit tough. The chicken vindaloo was spicyyy, but the chicken wasn't over cooked. The rice they give you is so small. We ordered garlic naan but it had no garlic flavor. Overall I would visit again for a quick dinner with ok portions.

Good Indian place near Columbus circle! We ordered 2 curries to share and we got the garlic naan on the house! - Chicken tikka masala: 10/10 (creamy and good. Lots of chicken inside the curry) - Lamb vindaloo: 9/10 (pretty good, but I preferred the chicken tikka masala) Service was great and ambiance was casual!

Ordered: 3-course Prix Fixe (~$27/person) -Appetizer: Keema Samosa & Butternut Squash Soup -Entree: Chicken Korma & Chicken Curry, served with basmati rice -Dessert: Mango Lassi & Kheer Plain Naan (~$4) Aya's take: We were in the area looking for a quick dinner, stopped by Bengal Tiger around 6pm, and were seated right away. This place has so many reviews and mostly good ones so we knew it wouldn't disappoint. We opted for the 3-course Prix Fixe which I think is a great choice if you want to try a few menu items. The Keema Samosa was fried to a perfect golden brown and was probably one of the best samosas I've had. It was loaded with ground lamb and spices. Both mint and tamarind chutneys had great flavor and went well with the samosa. The Entrees were both pretty good too. The Chicken Korma was my preference; it was creamy, lightly spiced, and the chicken was tender. For dessert, we got the Mango Lassi & Kheer. I was actually about to get the Mango Lassi early on to enjoy with my meal. The Kheer aka rice pudding didn't stand out to me honestly. Great try, overall!
